Yorkshire has 9 race courses and each year there is in the region of 200 race meets split between national hunt and flat racing.

We have a rich heritage of horse racing and betting in Yorkshire and we hold some of the best race meets in the UK with big races taking place throughout the year.

There is a diverse range of race courses available with courses throughout the county at Beverley, Catterick, Doncaster, Pontefract, Redcar, Ripon, Thirsk, Wetherby and York.

We hold the famous St Leger at Doncaster during September and the Ebor meet in York during August.
